I've created another Christmas card ... I'm determined to get ahead with my Christmas cards!  You don't have to create a Christmas card to join in with the challenge ... it just has to be a card to celebrate a holiday!  So get your supplies out and start creating.  This is my card:

AAA Cards Creatures ...

Good Morning ... well August has disappeared into the past which means it is time for me to return to paid employment ... school opens on Wednesday so it's back to work for me! 

As my holiday drifts away it is time for a new challenge at AAA Cards:

My brother and sister-in-law celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary last month and this is the card I created for them ... so as well as card, ink and stamps this card contains lots of love (difficult to photograph but if you look closely I'm sure you can see it!!)

From Colouring Book to Cards ...

Good afternoon!  It is time for another blog hop and linky party over at STAMPlorations.  If you join in you will be in with the chance of winning a prize!

You may remember that earlier this month I showcased a couple of pages that I had coloured from this new colouring book ... if you missed it then you can check it out here.  In this post I'm delighted to show you the cards that I created by using parts of these coloured panels. I have to admit that I had never really thought about creating cards from colouring books but I am delighted to have tried and will be doing it again!

TIME OUT Reminder ...

I'm popping by this morning to let you know that you still have time to join in with the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenge ...

Autumn with the optional twist of speed stamping.

The optional twist is all about creating a card in 10 minutes or less but, of course, you can enter without the twist.  I tried with the twist for my first attempt and was doing well until it came to tying a bow!  This time I've created a one layer card using a stencil, stamp and marker pen.  How long did this one take ...

... six minutes!

ATSM Hidden Happy ...

As quickly as my summer holiday passes so does the time between challenges ... yes, you've guessed it is time again for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!!  This week it is everyone's favourite - Anything Goes.  My card is created using one of my favourite techniques combining inlaid die cuts with stamping.  I hope you will pop along to the blog and check out all the wonderful cards that the design team have created to inspire and delight.  This is my card:

I appreciate that it is difficult to see the 'Happy' hidden in the flowers but you can in real life, I promise.  This card is based on one of my 'go to' designs as it works with lots of different stamps and images.

Three trees ...

Another day of sorting, cleaning, tidying and finished off with trip to the rubbish tip with a car load of stuff ... how do we accumulate so much!!  I have spent the afternoon being creative (after tidying my craft table ... why is it always covered in stuff!).  This is one of the cards:

I used a scrap of card that I had cleaned my brayer on and die cut three panels before stamping the trees ... my idea was to show the life of the tree as Autumn passes and the leaves fall.  The panels were adhered using foam adhesive to add dimension.

Time to chill ...

Good evening, I've spent most of the weekend gardening ... a never ending task ... but took time out this evening to create a card for this week's challenge at "Less is More".  The theme is 'Your Perfect Holiday' ... to be honest my needs are quite simple ... just time out to chill and relax!  So this is my card:

I created the card using a scrap of faux mother of pearl card and some alphabet dies ... not particularly inspiring but just what is needed.  I'm not saying that I would turn down a five star luxury hotel somewhere warm but right now the opportunity to take time out and relax anywhere is very appealing!  I've been on holiday from my paid work for the last four weeks and I feel as if I've worked harder during that time than when I am at work ... !!!
