Season's Greetings ...

I've had a very hectic couple of weeks with little time for card making.  The time has been largely spent with family - initially in Lincolnshire with my parents and then in Edinburgh visiting my son.  It was my first trip to Edinburgh such a beautiful city and  lovely to spend time with my favourite son.  Now I have the weekend to get myself back into work mode - it has been the half term holiday from school this week so it is back to work on Monday!  Today I have made time for card making.

This is the first card I would like to share with you:



A straightforward card inspired by this week's challenge at "Less is More" the theme is "Celebrations and Festivals".  It is their 300th challenge - congratulations to Chrissie and her design team!  As I need to get my Christmas cards made I decided this was a good excuse to get making!!  The card is all about stamping, masking and heat embossing using:

STAMPlorations - Christmas Bell Medley Stamp Set
Versamark Ink
Distress Ink - Festive Berries
WOW Clear Embossing Powder
Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Embossing Powder

    It sounds like it's been a busy but fun time - glad you enjoyed your trip to Edinburgh! I visited a few years ago and really loved it.     What a lovely CAS and traditional Christmas card, Elaine. I really must make a start on mine, I have a feeling it will be more of a rush than last year! Love how the embossed design fills just the base of your card.
