STAMPlorations ... CUTplorations challenge is back!!!

The holidays are over and it is time for the CUTplorations challenge at STAMPlorations to start again ... the challenge will start the first Monday of each month and you are invited to join us.  The challenge always has a photograph to inspire you to create a project using dies and at least one STAMPlorations product.

This is my take - I've gone with the colour scheme rather than the image:

I first created a panel using alcohol inks and gold foil to die cut 'thanks' from - I also cut a number of 'thanks' from white before stacking and adhering them together.  I die cut the dragonfly from cream card and also from a panel created using my gelli press plate, acrylic paints and stencils.  Having adhered the complete panel to a card front I then pieced the dragonfly and flourish in to position, added the sentiment and considered the card finished. A very clean and simple design but effective (I hope!).

I used:

Why not pop across to the blog and check out the another amazing designs from the brilliant design team - I just know that you will not be disappointed.  I hope you will find time to join in with the challenge.

Enjoy!

  1. I love how you just went with the beautiful fall colors, Elaine. Those touches of yellow and orange stand out wonderfully on all that luscious white.
