Less is More new challenge ...

Good morning all!!  I hope you are ready for this it is time for a new challenge at "Less is More" this time it is a colour challenge:

I love white on white projects but it is fair to say that I have never just used white and cream quite a change for me and a bit of a challenge!!  But a challenge is what this is all about!

My first card to inspire you is literally just white and cream:

This card just involves die cutting, no stamping, it is a technique I quite enjoy.  The flowers were die cut three times and then stacked and adhered together to add dimension and interest.

I used:
Gemini - With Love die
Sue Wilson - Dandelion Posies
Lawn Fawn - Stitched rectangles

My second card is even simpler in design and just involves one die and one stamp!

Surely it is never too early to start the Christmas card stash!  Every year I get caught out when Christmas arrives earlier than expected ... strange really because it is the same date every year!!

I used:
Memory Box - Quiet Cabin Landscape
UNIKO - Simply Said II
WOW Pale Gold Embossing Powder

Now it is your turn so get out your supplies put your thinking cap on and get creating.  If you still want more inspiration then pop over to the blog and check out the other designers I know you will not be disappointed by what you find.

Stay safe!

  1. Two beautiful cards, Elaine. I love the no stamping card - beautifully composed. The snow scene is just perfect for this color scheme. Well done!!

  2. Two beautiful cards here Elaine ! I am wondering how to make a white and cream card now too 😁 Viv xx

  3. Two gorgeous CAS designs with this combo. I also found it a challenge at the beginning! x

  4. Two great cards, Elaine. I love those dandelions stacked up, it looks like a great die and made even better by those extra layers. And what a great idea to use white and cream for a Christmas card too x

  5. Two beautiful cards Elaine. The Christmas one is just perfect for batch making and I love the soft sheen of the pearl card on that one. It is so elegant. Stacking the dandelions on your first card was genius. Superb inspiration xx
