Christmas words 2 and 3 ...

I've been on a roll this afternoon!  Having designed and created a card late this morning I then came up with a variation on the idea and a variation on the variation!!

This is the first variation, this time I created a Christmas tree stencil and used a collection of happy stamps to 'colour' it.  I then die cut "Christmas" in three colours - cream, Bermuda Bay and Salty Ocean, layered them together ... this is it:

For the variation on the variation, I used the stencil to create the tree using the happy stamps, die cut Christmas out of the card and replaced it with a silver die cut Christmas. Which do you prefer?

I'm going to enter these into the "Less is More"  challenge 'Mostly Words'.

Enjoy!

  4. These are lovely and both nice, but the first one has the edge for me as it looks more contemporary.

  5. Such a clever design, Elaine! Love the 'happy' tree and die cut Christmas. They are both fabulous - I would lean slightly towards the first as I like the dimension of the offset die cut :)
