I've been on a roll this afternoon! Having designed and created a card late this morning I then came up with a variation on the idea and a variation on the variation!!
This is the first variation, this time I created a Christmas tree stencil and used a collection of happy stamps to 'colour' it. I then die cut "Christmas" in three colours - cream, Bermuda Bay and Salty Ocean, layered them together ... this is it:
For the variation on the variation, I used the stencil to create the tree using the happy stamps, die cut Christmas out of the card and replaced it with a silver die cut Christmas. Which do you prefer?
I'm going to enter these into the "Less is More" challenge 'Mostly Words'.
Enjoy!
I like them both

Less is More
These are lovely and both nice, but the first one has the edge for me as it looks more contemporary.

Such a clever design, Elaine! Love the 'happy' tree and die cut Christmas. They are both fabulous - I would lean slightly towards the first as I like the dimension of the offset die cut :)
ReplyDeletestunning!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant yet again Elaine... I love those different colours stacked on the die-cut!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
