Another quick post for this evening, I think this stamp set could become another favourite!
This time I've taken the lead from the current sketch challenge at STAMPlorations (with a little bit of tweaking and no sentiment!).
As simple as this card is I cannot tell you how much card I wasted just trying to create it. I sometimes get an idea in my head and just cannot translate it into real life!
I used:
STAMPlorations Boxed Blooms stamp set
Distress Inks - Mustard seed, Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo and Mowed lawn
Hessian.
This is the challenge sketch:
Enjoy!

Oh cool. Just add a touch of glitter to the center of that bloom and you've got your card for the monthly challenge too ;) Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of your card and at times they are the most difficult to make. Great combination of the hessian with the beautifully coloured daisy. It looks like a sunflower in this combination! thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations for our sketch challenge. Good Luck! Monika
ReplyDeleteYour card is GORGEOUS, Elaine! And awesome coloring of the daisy!
ReplyDeleteWell, good heavens, I've been the worst bloggie friend with my lack of visits! I've so enjoyed backing up through your sensational creations, Elaine. I'm sorry I don't have time to stop on each one, but I really wanted to stop here because I love this so much! Your signature style is your ability to make the simplest and cleanest cards and have them pack an enormous wallop!! I aspire!! Hugs, Darnell
