Gerbera Grunge ...

I've had a fun afternoon playing with an idea involving my favourite Gerbera stamp (Uniko Studio), embossing powder, Stampin Up's Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and some distress ink. The result is a vibrant card and possibly not what you would expect from me and the Gerbera stamp!

 Well you need wait no longer, here it is!


I began by heat embossing the image with black embossing powder and then stamped the image using one of the stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  I cropped the image then layered it onto two pieces of card that I had edged with distress ink to match the image. 

 This was the third one that I created but the only one that I have done anything with - I'm not sure about the other ones but thought I would include them in this post so that you can see how the idea developed.

    Ooh these are all lovely Elaine,love the colours on them especially that splatter effect.

    I think you are my favourite card making blogger,you do create some yummy cards :)

    By the way,try the stamp carving kit,it's so much fun,perfect for your cards. I made about 8 stamps from the block in the kit so good value too
