Christmas tree .....
Nesting dies and scraps of Christmas paper.  A simple card with just a little sparkle.

Hexagons and stamping ...
I've bought loads of stamps but never really mastered the technique but I keep trying and trying. This is my latest attempt combining floral hexagons and a flower stamp.  I'm still not sure whether it works - my daughter really likes it!

Minimalist ....

Today's contribution to the Christmas card stash.

A little closer....

I include an insert in each card but leave them blank so that you can put your own message in them.

Re-cycling....

A different kind of project for me - I bought a battered nest of tables quite a while ago at a Car Boot Market in Lincolnshire.  They've been sat in the garage for at least a year waiting for inspiration and time!  I was determined to make a start this summer - the largest and smallest table I stripped and then waxed but the middle one I decided to try something different.  Here it is:

I stripped the varnish and then glued strips of a road map onto the top.  The map actually forms a bit of a puzzle as hidden within it are places that are special to my family - places where we were born, live or went to University!!   I have to say that it is a happy coincidence that there is water on both sides - but don't try and navigate using it!

I finished by waxing the whole table with natural beeswax - hopefully this will protect the surface.

More cards....
These are the latest efforts in Christmas cards.   I'm not sure whether I like them or not.  I have a large selection of Christmas themed sequins.... I bought them in a rash moment years ago and have never found anything to use them on.
