Red rose ...

Do you like technology?  I have a love hate relationship with it at the moment ... largely because my laptop has developed a mind of its own ... it works for a short time and then freezes and refuses to do anything!!!!  If I manage to complete this post I will be amazed ... so I'd better get on with it!

I'd like to share another card that I made at the weekend:-

I made this using the fabulous Uniko, Pure Florals: Rose stamp set ... I stamped and heat embossed the image before colouring with Zig markers.

I'm entering this into this month's challenge at UNIKO

Enjoy!

Cute Giraffe ...

This is going to be a very post just to share a card ...

I've been trying to write this post for most of the evening but for some reason my laptop and the internet conspired against me ... everything kept crashing!  I think I've sorted it now but I really should be going to bed now otherwise Monday will be a bigger challenge than normal!!

My card is for the current challenge at "Less is More"

It is Monday morning now ... at this point last night everything crashed ... again!  I'm now attempting to publish from my iPad ... fingers crossed!

Enjoy!

CUTplorations January Reminder ...

Have you joined in with the CUTplorations challenge at STAMPlorations this month?  If not then maybe, just maybe, I can inspire you to have a go.

I've taken the pinks, purples and blues and combined them with some inspiring words for the new year (new day of the rising sun):

I used a panel of card created using acrylic paints, stencils and a gel press plate - and die cut the pink panels. Using piece of card coloured in the same way but with a metallic paint I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments before trimming the card and die cutting the edge to echo the coloured panel.

I used:

Pop across to the blog and check out the other designers inspiring projects - I just  know you will not be disappointed.

AAA Cards Quote ...

Morning all and welcome to the first challenge for 2018 at AAA Cards ... I hope you are ready to get out the crafting supplies and get creating ... the challenge is to be inspired by a quote.

I decided to work with the rainbow colours in the background and tried to find a suitable quote ... I went with the new year as the new beginning and used a quote which hopefully many of us will take as good advice for the year ahead.

I used:

Kaisercraft - Curiosity Clear Stamp Set
Distress Inks - Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet.
Stampin Up - Gorgeous Grunge and Off the Grid
WOW Clear Embossing Powder

Remember to check out the blog for all the great designs from the rest of the design team - I just know that you will not be disappointed.  I look forward to visiting your blogs to check out your creations.

Happy New Year ...

Good Afternoon!  Happy New Year to you all ... I hope you are all set for the challenges of a new year ... have you made any resolutions?  I always make resolutions - I don't know why as I seldom make it to the end of January before I've broken at least one of them!!  This year one of my resolutions is to keep my resolutions!!!!

One of my resolutions is to do something creative everyday ... so I'm off to a good start as I've spent time today creating a card.

I stamped and heat embossed the two roses before water colouring with Zig markers and then added the sentiment - it was only when I finished that I realised that I had created a one layer card!!

I used:
UNIKO - Pure Florals: Rose; Festive Sentiments; Simply Said
Versfine Onyx Black Ink
WOW Clear Embossing Powder

I am entering the following challenges:

Penny Black and More December Challenge - CAS

Enjoy!
