Is that all there is? ...

I'm sure many viewers, when seeing this card, will be thinking ... 'Is that all there is?'.  Perhaps I should explain that I started with an idea and a 5 inch by 7 inch piece of card ... this is all that is left.  My original idea just would not work no matter what I did!  I'm sure I cannot be alone in experiencing this problem, so in an attempt to avoid Sunday afternoon being a complete waste of time I created this card:


The sentiment and ribbon are gold.

The design and layout couldn't be more simple - it is not what I set out to create but is OK.

I had the following challenges in mind when I began the process:

"Less is More" - it's recipe week and we need to include a tag.
Addicted to CAS - key words are Black, White and Gold

    Don`t you just hate it when that happens. I`ve so many good ideas that look rubbish when I`ve finished so no...you`re not alone.
    Your finished card however is super. Very understated and definitely `Less is More`. Love it.

    Elaine, this is so clean and elegant! Sometimes I need to stop while making a card, and it will be just enough. Sometimes my plans bring the result I don't like. Sure, I struggle too, but I always think of it as learning :)

    I adore that gerbera stamp when it's stamped off the edge like this, and it's lovely just left as an outline. Wonderfully CAS!
