Good evening!! It is a lovely spring evening in Oxfordshire ... the sun is still shining and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue. I love it when the daylight lasts it feels like you have more time to do things. I've been busy trying to sort my garden out progress is slow but it is starting to look better. I made time this afternoon to create a card ... my mind is cluttered with so much that taking time out to craft has been difficult. This is for this week's challenge at "Less is More" it is recipe week and the key ingredient is METAL.
This is the card:
The cogs have been die cut from a beer can (empty, of course!). I never seem to make specifically masculine cards but I think this works.
I used:
X Cut dies - Chronology cogs
Stampin Up - Gorgeous Grunge and Off the Grid Stamp sets
Versafine onyx black ink
Empty Beer can.
I'm also going to enter the challenge at TIMEOUT where the theme is Grunge with the optional twist of embossing - I'm not sure whether this is grunge enough!
Enjoy!
Well this is fantastic Elaine. Love it. Great use of metal and a brilliant background. Thanks for playing along at Less is More. If you are interested you might like to link up at Time Out challenges as there's a 'Grunge' themed challenge over there - you need to be quick though as I think it finishes tomorrow. thanks Sarah x
