One moment in time ...

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you may know that I work in the office of a local primary school ... it's a busy time of the year for schools as we move towards the end of the school year and to the start of the long summer holidays.  It always makes me think of how fast life is passing especially as July is my birthday month as well!!  It seems appropriate that this week's challenge at "Less is More" is all about time.
I've created one card already but came across a quotation stamp that I thought was apt as it talks about 'moments'.

This is the card:

To me it is all about time ... hopefully it is to the ladies at "Less is More".  It also acts as a timely reminder to me that I need to 'live every moment' and to stop waiting for tomorrow!!

I used:
Uniko Background Builders: Triangulate
Distress Inks - Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Tumbled Class
Kaisercraft Way of Life
Versafine Onyx Black

  1. Great card and a sentiment I totally am with you on!

  2. FAB make and a great take on the theme

  3. Fabulous! I love the contemporary feel of this card, and having the imagery in a diagonal strip adds movement and energy that perfectly suits the sentiment. Great LIM card!

  4. Such gorgeous and pretty colours and design as always Elaine. Love how you've showcased another Uniko set here. Looks fantastic and thanks for playing along with us at Less is More this week. Sarah

  5. Terrific sentiment and I really like how you have the movement diagonally from top to bottom! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!

  6. great sentiment and your design is stunning.

  7. Just catching up on last week's comments Elaine...
This is a super card... I must remember this sentiment... it's really cool!
    Thanks so much

  8. A very striking card, love the blues. Cara x

  9. Just the perfect amount of background detail to let the sentiment shine, love the geometrics. And what a fab sentiment that is. I need to start living like this too!
    Thanks for sharing with us.
