Season's Greetings ...

I've had a very hectic couple of weeks with little time for card making.  The time has been largely spent with family - initially in Lincolnshire with my parents and then in Edinburgh visiting my son.  It was my first trip to Edinburgh such a beautiful city and  lovely to spend time with my favourite son.  Now I have the weekend to get myself back into work mode - it has been the half term holiday from school this week so it is back to work on Monday!  Today I have made time for card making.

This is the first card I would like to share with you:

A straightforward card inspired by this week's challenge at "Less is More" the theme is "Celebrations and Festivals".  It is their 300th challenge - congratulations to Chrissie and her design team!  As I need to get my Christmas cards made I decided this was a good excuse to get making!!  The card is all about stamping, masking and heat embossing using:

STAMPlorations - Christmas Bell Medley Stamp Set
Versamark Ink
Distress Ink - Festive Berries
WOW Clear Embossing Powder
Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Embossing Powder

As I've used STAMPloration stamps I'm also going to link up to their Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge:

Enjoy!

I'll be in the same boat as you tomorrow morning ... trudging back to work after half term but at least it's not long to the next break eh! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week to celebrate our 300th challenge at Less is More. Sarah

  8. What a lovely CAS and traditional Christmas card, Elaine. I really must make a start on mine, I have a feeling it will be more of a rush than last year! Love how the embossed design fills just the base of your card.
    Thanks for sharing with us.
