Damask and Butterfly ...

It has rained for most of today ... not good when you need to do some gardening but an excellent excuse to spend the afternoon crafting!  I was a bit slow starting as ideas seemed to be missing but once I had been inspired by the design teams at some challenges it wasn't long before I had ideas for a couple of cards.  I've already posted the first card and here is the second:

I first stamped and heat embossed a piece of card and then ink blended over the image with distress inks.  I die cut the circle out of another piece of card for the front layer, punch three small circles on the edge before adhering the panel to the card front with foam adhesive.  I die cut the butterfly out of some black card and adhered it to the panel added a sentiment and that was it!

I used:
STAMPlorations - Ditressed Damask Background Stamp
CUTplorations - Flutter Zen I die
Distress Inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold, Candied Apple
WOW embossing powder

I'm entering the following challenges:

TIME OUT #83
It is a CASE with your own twist challenge - the challenge is to CASE this wonderful card by Hanniele (Desert Diva):

Enjoy!

  7. This is so pretty. The lacy die cut butterfly is perfect for the CASE and I like how you did it in black - so clever. Thanks for sharing with us at Time Out challenges , Jenny x
