Monster Christmas ...

Another week closer ... another Christmas card to add to the pile - still not enough but heading in the right direction.  Today's card is just a bit of fun that hopefully will go down well with the younger members of my family.

You may recognise the monster ... I just masked off the corner of the stamp and added a Santa hat (which I drew by hand on a separate piece of card, coloured and fussy cut).  I created the sentiment from a number of different stamp sets and an alphabet set.  I want to add a little texture in the background so used some texture paste through a snowflake stencil.

I'm entering the challenge at "Less is More"

  1. Great card, love the texture paste background

  2. Haha ! Such a funny Santa ! You did a fabulous work playing with the different stamp sets and drawing the hat ! Love your snowy background too ! Great CASE on Susan's card ! Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !

  3. This is such a clever take on the monster image and love the ingenious quality of your drawing. Your festive wintry backdrop is awesome against the perfectly coloured 'monster'. Thanks for joining us at Less is More this week

  4. FAB take on the CASE theme this week

  5. Is it wrong that I think this is adorable!

  6. This card gives me a big smile! Your cute monster with his Santa hat looks adorable. Not scary at all! :) The snowflakes were a wonderful idea, love the white on white look. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
