The inspiration for this card comes from the new challenge at "Less is More" the theme is ... "Bring Something Back". When I first saw the challenge I had not got a clue where to start and then I had a 'light bulb' moment ... what about hand stitching! So that was the starting point ... out came the embroidery silk and this is the result. I then die cut the butterfly attaching it by the body only. The finished panel was adhered to the card base using foam tape to add some dimension.

Enjoy!
Swooning over stitching, I too thought of stitching, but I had been doing quite a few stitched cards, so it didn't make sense to call it a come back for me.
ReplyDeleteLoving your beautiful shades blue floss, I am tempted to pull out my embroidery needle now!
