What inspires you?... for me it is the colours of the rainbow that inspire ... not just today but often when I create. The card I designed is gender neutral and involves lots of straight lines and lots of white space.
I masked off a triangular area of the card before stamping and heat embossing using a background stamp. I selected some rainbow coloured markers and randomly coloured just some of the small triangles. I die cut 'happy' three times and stacked and adhered them together before stamping the small 'birthday' and adding it.
I used:
Simon Says Stamp - Lattice Grid Background stamp
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
WOW fine clear embossing powder
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
STAMPlorations - Happy die
I hope you will be inspired to join in with the challenge and remember to check out the blog for more inspiration from the rest of the design team - I just know you will not be disappointed.
Enjoy!
Oh that triangle of triangles is just amazing. Love how you've added spots of rainbow colours to your wonderful geometric design.

ReplyDeleteSuch an eye catching creation, love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, I love how you have clubbed a geometric design with the vibrant rainbow colors. The selective coloring adds so much to the CAS look with all the empty space. The way you have masked the triangle from the background stamp is so clever. Thank you for inspiring us. Hugs - Bharati
ReplyDeleteWhat a great geometric CAS masculine card! Love how you integrated the rainbow colors into the design!
