Happy New Year ...

... a new year brings with it new challenges and opportunities.  For me, January can be the longest and hardest month to deal with ... a time for reflecting back on the year that has gone and looking forward to the year to come.  One thing I've been thinking about is my blog and how I can improve it ... I seem to get less visitors as time passes. Part of the problem is that I haven't been posting as often as I did so I plan to rectify this (of course this means I need to find more time to be creative!!).

So here we go ... my first post for the New Year ...

I was inspired to create this card by two challenges:

Time Out Challenges #126

Inkspirational Challenge #177

It seems strange to be asked to CASE one of my own designs for a challenge ... this is the original card:

  1. What a fabulous card to start the year off with. Love all of those hearts. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.

  2. I think it's great that you used this fabulous design again- it looks amazing with the hearts and I love all the metallic. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges.

  3. What a striking card Elaine, those colourful alcohol inked hearts look amazing, love the touch of metallics too, Cathy x

  4. What lovely rich jewel colours and a fabulous design! Love it! I am with you on the blogging front. I think a lot of people are on Facebook ad Instagram....but i figure that my important blogging buddies are still with me! hugs xx

  5. Your card is so beautiful!! Looks modern and warm and is still CAS; so clever!
I post a lot on my blog, but I notice that the visitors are a little bit less the last half year to and even the comments are less... Some just don't take the time and some went only to FB, but I don't like can't easy look something up and just thumbs?
Hope you will go on with your blog and hope that we can turn a lot people back to blogging aswell... Thank you for joining us at TIME OUT!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I really appreciate your comments.
