Navy and Yellow ...

A quick post with you this evening to share this card that was inspired by a couple of challenges:

A simple card with a simple design - just a few die cuts and one sentiment stamp.  The dandelions were die cut out of yellow card four times before I adhered them together to add more dimension.  I cut a strip off the front of the card and stamped the sentiment on the inside.

I used:
Sue Wilson Dandelion Posies die
Robert Addams Trellis die
Simon Says Stamp Handwritten borders
Stampin Up - Not Quite Navy ink

I'm entering the following challenges:

"Less is More" #388
The team at LIM are celebrating the 8th birthday of the challenge - congratulations to all of the design team past and present.  This was one of the very first challenges that I entered on a regular basis when I first started blogging - it's a great place to see inspiring CAS cards.  Happy Birthday!

Addicted to Stamps and More #326

Enjoy!

  4. You are oozing class and elegance again Elaine with this drop-dead gorgeous make. Adding the sentiment on the inside of the card peeking through the strip cut from the front was inspired. A brilliant card and thank you for sharing it with us at Less is More xx

  5. This is gorgeous, Elaine. Those stacked up dandelions site beautifully over the trellis and the subtle textured base. And thanks for the inspiration with the cut away edge, I used to do this years ago but had completely forgotten how great it looks. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
