Courage ...

Good morning all ... I hope all is good with you and that you are all set for the holiday!  I've taken a little time out this morning to create this card:

I was inspired by the new challenge at TIME OUT Challenges and the arrival of the quote stamp from STAMPlorations ... the two just seemed to sit together.  It also reflects where I am at the moment ... I have just finished working (retired) and need to find my new place in the world ... it doesn't seem that easy at the moment ... I probably should have put more thought and planning into it before resigning!

I'm going to enter this in the following challenges:

Time Out Challenge #151

Penny Black and More - December Flowers

  1. Eliane, this is a beauty and I am so pleased out challenge and the new stamp just came at the tight time in your life. I adore the texture and the arty look to this card. I understand so much the need to find your own space but give yourself time and it will come to you....I started Time Out nearly 6 years ago!....there you are...a challenge blog run by you! Just a thought! Thanks for joining Time Out

  2. A really pretty tone on tone creation, many thanks for sharing and joining in at Penny Black and More December challenge. Wishing you a lovely Christmas Season.

  3. Congratulations on your retirement - a new path is always a challenge but also always worth the effort you put into it 😀 I wish you the best on your new adventure. Your card is inspiring - the blue in white is stunning and the sentiment is perfect. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill

  4. Join us back at AAA cards, Elaine! We miss you. I love to see your cards. Your ideas are so cool and different! I love all the blue here and how the sentiment is the main focus with the blue matting. Fantastic card. Thank you for joining us at Time out Challenges and wish you and your family a Very Happy New Year! Hugs ~ Ishani.
