Best wishes ... and exciting news!

Well exciting news ... April has turned out to be the best month of 2021 (so far anyway!) ... so what is my news I hear you ask ... I've joined the Visible Image Instagram design team!  It is a real boost to have been invited to join the team and I'm really looking forward to working with the amazing company and the other designers.

This is my first project which is being shared on Instagram

First up I stamped and heat embossed the corners with the Fibonacci background stamp - before water colouring with distress inks.

I had already stamped and heat embossed the flower from the Creative Chaos stamp set and coloured it with some acrylic paint as I really wanted the colour to be intense - I don't have a yellow ink that would work.  I fussy cut the image before adhering it to the panel with foam adhesive along with the sentiment.

I spritzed the corners with water before dropping in the distress ink and then sprayed it again to spread the ink and to get it to pool between the embossed stamping.

I left a small white border when I fussy cut the flower

I used:

Visible Image - Fibonacci
                      - Creative Chaos
                         - Go to Words
Distress Inks - Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
WOW Clear Embossing Powder
