Friday afternoon and the sun is shining (at the moment, rain is expected later!!) and it is time for my weekly Visible Image project. Today I have the honour of sharing with you a project created with a new stamp set that was launched today and is available for pre-order - Butterfly Effect is its name and you can get all the details here. It is the very first time that I have used a stamp set before it has been available and I am childishly excited about it!
The stamp set is really lovely because as well as a beautiful large butterfly there are background stamps and lovely words and not forgetting there is a teeny butterfly too! I love it when one stamp set provides all the elements to create a card. So less chat and here is the card:
How I created it:
I stamped and heat embossed the butterfly - more than once for audition purposes! |
I water coloured the butterfly with distress ink and then fussy cut it |
I also stamped and heat embossed the background circles before water colouring them with a complementary colour |

I did look at the new release but wasn't overly impressed. Your card has inspired me to go look at the new stamps again!!!
