Water Colour 50 ...

Good Morning!  It is a dreary day in Oxfordshire ... that's the downside, the upside is I don't garden when it is wet and cold so I can spend the day crafting!  To begin with I'd like to share a card I created yesterday ...

A special friend of mine turns 50 this month and I just wanted to create a special card for her ... and this is it!  I stamped and heat embossed the image before water colouring.  I die cut the panel to create the frame so some of the image trickles onto the outer frame. I die cut the numbers out of the main panel and an additional four times from some card before sticking them together and placing back into the panel.  The centre rectangle was then backed with fun foam to add more dimension before adhering it to the card base.

I used:
STAMPlorations Blossom Sprays #2
CUTplorations Wonky Stitched Rectangle die
Dienamics High Rise Numbers
WOW White embossing powder.

I'm entering the following challenges:

"Less is More" #348

Penny Black and More - October Close to Nature

STAMPlorations

Enjoy!

  5. Gosh, you are oozing elegance and refinement here Elaine! Those flowers look super embossed in white and your water colouring is flawless. I especially like the camouflage sentiment (wish I could get the knack of that technique). Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
