I think nature is my go to theme in most of my designs as I have hundreds (well maybe not hundreds!!) of flowers and butterfly stamps! This time we are sponsored by Happy Little Stampers.
Another simple design ... stamp three butterflies onto a gelli print then fussy cut them out. Stitch the images to the centre of a piece of card, draw in their antenna (it saves trying to fussy cut the thin lines!). I finished by adding some pierced detail to the corners for extra interest.
I used:
UNIKO English Country Garden: Butterflies
Papermania Urban Stamps Butterflies
Versafine Onyx Black
I do hope that you will join in ... just remember to keep your design clean and simple (CAS).
Enjoy!
love yoru trie of colorful butterflies, that teal is just gorgeous and the stitching adds a fab detail
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination of butterfly stamps, love the decreasing sizes. The added stitching and corner detail are fabulous finishing touches.
ReplyDeleteYour butterflies are so pretty. I love the colors and the stitching too.
ReplyDeleteOk,I was just blown away when i saw the stitching on your card right through all the butterflies. What a brilliant touch and adds so much interest as well as texture on the CAS card. I want to try this. In my humble opinion, butterflies are ambassadors of nature. They fly spreading the beauty and brilliance of nature. Btw, i agree with Jane, the little detail on corners is a nice touch. Hugs Bharati
ReplyDeleteYour butterflies are beautifully colored - and how fun they are all stitched!
