Bits Box ...

Just passing through to share a card ...

I spotted the challenge at "Less is More" encouraging us to use our 'bits box' to create a card ... so out came all the bits I've saved along with indecision!!  After much procrastination I decided that the butterflies would be just the job!

AAA Cards ... Use a Frame ...

Good Morning ... it is time for a new challenge at AAA Cards ... I hope you are all set to get involved.  This time we would like you to use a frame:

I've used two frames to 'spotlight' part of the image:

I stamped and heat embossed the flowers before water colouring with distress inks.  I then used some rectangle dies to create the frames which I adhered to the card using foam tape to add dimension.  I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.

Lawn Cuts - Stitched Rectangles

Friendship matters ...

Good evening ... a quick post to share this:

I've been playing with alcohol inks recently ... makes a change from gelli printing ... creating backgrounds with added foiling.  I love the effect that the gold adds to the panel.  For this card I die cut lots of hexagons and then spent ages (and ages) deciding on the layout ... I must have tried hundreds of layouts before arriving on the above.  I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder before adding it to the card.

AAA Cards Geometrics ...

Well it's been an exciting two weeks celebrating AAA Cards 4th Birthday Bash ... I hope you joined in and had fun ... all the winners will be announced next weekend.  While you wait why not join in with the new challenge that starts today!  This time the theme is:
