Cream and Gold ...

I hope the sun is shining where you are ... it is raining in my town and looks like it could be raining all day ... not my favourite type of weather!!!

I thought I would pop by and share this card with you:

I was inspired by the challenge at Color Hues - to use the colours Gold and Cream.  I've been making a lot of very CAS cards recently and just fancied making something with a few more layers.  To me it still has a CAS feel to it as there is a lot of white space just more layers than I usually use.

I began by stamping and heat embossing the background grid before adding a strip of designer paper.  The die cut floral images were adhered to the base ... the top 'flower' was die cut a number of times and stacked and glued together to add additional dimension.  I added the small banner with the gold embossed sentiment as it seemed to tie the floral elements together.

I love these colour challenges ...

I've also told about another challenge, this time a weekly one:

Have a good weekend!

Stay Safe.
