At last ...

Good evening ... at last I've managed to create a card for this week's challenge at "Less is More"!  Actually this is the second card that I've made ... you know how you tell your children at exam time to read the question carefully? well, I should take my own advice!! Guess what? the first card I made for the challenge had layers!! and the theme for this week's challenge is 'ONE Layer featuring a vehicle' ... on a positive note I have a card for another day!!

Anyway less waffle, here is the card:

I embossed a square into the card base and then stamped the image and sentiment.  I then coloured the camper van with markers and that was it!

It is my dream to own a camper van!

Details of the challenges:

  1. What a gorgeous little bus and you certainly won't be the last to commit that sinful act of posting a layered card on OLC week! Hee Hee! Even the DT try it. At least you've managed to sneak a perfect, cheery card in and in the nick of time. thanks so much for joining us at Less is More x

  2. It's so easily done, Elaine. I think we've all done it then, eeeek....start again! This is so cute, that little camper sits perfectly in the embossed square. Love the bright colours too.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

  3. I've done that a LOT. Loving this camper van though - I think most people would like to have one! What a fab sense of freedom it must be. It's perfectly framed with the embossed square which really makes a great focal point. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

  4. I love how you embossed the square on this card and that's such a cool stamp. Fabulous card x

  5. Good advice - to read the question carefully. I did the same thing the other day and had to make the card again. Love that camper van - it reminds me of one my uncle had when we were younger - we had so much fun in that thing. Your card is awesome - love the design and the colors. And the sentiment - fantastic!

  6. Haha, that sounds like something I would do, Elaine! Good for you to come back with another card that fits the challenge perfectly! I love your square-embossed square card with the hip blue van and encouraging sediment!! Hugs, Darnell
