I created the card using a scrap of faux mother of pearl card and some alphabet dies ... not particularly inspiring but just what is needed. I'm not saying that I would turn down a five star luxury hotel somewhere warm but right now the opportunity to take time out and relax anywhere is very appealing! I've been on holiday from my paid work for the last four weeks and I feel as if I've worked harder during that time than when I am at work ... !!!

Enjoy!
Super make and love that you picked the cool blue too

Fab card, I love the card you die cut the letters from, it definitely adds to the chilled look x
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of that card, it's adorable! And I can totally relate to you holiday needs. My summer holiday has been over for a week now, and I feel like I haven't had any at all...

Great card! I want that holiday too :)
ReplyDeleteA fantastic and eye-catching take on the challenge Elaine and love the mother of pearl technique it give a magical shine and texture to the card. Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More this week.
ReplyDeleteYou may not think it's very inspiring but it's brilliantly executed in my eyes, all perfectly aligned and striking.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
What a fabulous and striking card. I have just started a 10-day break from work and plan to spend a lot of my time crafting. But I probably should try to spend a little time out of the house as well...
ReplyDeleteA super card, lovely colours - such a great idea.
